Creating an image for the Excellence Programme
Creating an image that would represent and identity the Tourism Excellence Programme, an image which condensed the spirit of the Programme and of the town, was the purpose of the competition held by the Town Hall.
The winning image tries to integrate the concepts of tradition and modernity that come together in our town, by searching for shapes, motifs and colours which are unconventional but which are also appropriate and respectful of the environment they are in.
Participating in Fairs
Another channel used to promote San Lorenzo de El Escorial as a tourist destination has been fairs like Fitur, where we continue to participate.
Designing and creating a tourism web site for San Lorenzo
One of the avenues to promote the excellence of San Lorenzo de El Escorial as a tourist destination was the creation of a tourism portal. Nowadays, the internet is an open window to the world and is of capital importance in the tourist sector, representing a magnificent opportunity to show San Lorenzo de El Escorial in an attractive manner.
The web page has been set up as an access route to the town, where users can obtain up-to-date information and interact with the services and attractions of this special tourist destination.
Promotional material
We make promotional materials relating to the Tourism Excellence Programme: pens, bags, calendars, notebooks, and so on.
Communication campaign
The Tourism Excellence Programme has been publicised in different media: local newspapers and magazines, the town magazine, radio, etc.
Publication of the book "El Real Sitio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial"
This book considers an area devoted to outstanding buildings in the historical part of the town, which is based on the work that was carried out on signposting for tourism purposes. |
