ADAPTING OF THE JUAN DE VILLANUEVA STAIRWAY AND THE WALL IN FLORIDABLANCA STREET

The wall and the stairs of Juan de Villanueva located in calle Juan de Toledo have been adapted and cleaned. The cleaning was carried out in such a way that the superficial contamination was removed leaving the majority of the original stone on view, without this implying any loss or erosion.

Complementing this project, a rail was installed in the iron adjacent to the wall, in order to prevent pedestrians from wandering on to the road and thus to ensure their safety.

A study has also been undertaken regarding the need to clean and adapt the wall in Floridablance street.
