The Tourism Excellence Programme has also considered projects that allow us to promote San Lorenzo outside the seasonal periods where we receive the greatest number of visitors (Easter and summer).

For this reason, over the Christmas period in 2005 we set up an open-air ice rink in the park (the Parque Alfonso XII) for three weeks, as part of the Christmas campaign which includes the life-size Nativity scene, the procession of the Three Wise Men and the puppet festival.

The result of this project was that around 4,000 participants enjoyed using the ice-skating rink.
