Path

We leave La Lonja (1) Through the Arcos (Arches) de la Compaña, we turn to the right and go up the avenue Conde de Aranda in order to continue along Pinar street. A few metres farther an unpaved street appears on the left that goes up to the Fuente (fountain) de la Bola (2). We continue along the same street to come out next to the Presa (reservoir) del Romeral. Walking along the left border we reach the Casita Rústica (Rustic house) (3). Continuing next to the wire fence we enter the Miguel del Campo Park where the Fuente de la Teja and the Fuente de la Currutaca are located (4).

We leave the Park down a road parallel
to the Arroyo del Romeral, to go to a deposit (5), right on the curve of the highway, from which another road ascends to an unpaved forest trail that will be abandoned in turn at its highest part, taking another road to the right that goes directly up the highway. [On the left around 400 metres is the Fuente de la Concha].

The Route crosses the highway and going up, without crossing the Arroyo

del Romeral, to the Fuente del Cervunal (6). A few metres farther up, we take a trail that ends in La Casita. We can continue on to it or turn, a short way before, to the left and go up to the Abantos Peak (7). Behind the meteorological station and alongside a wall, a road descends to the Portillo de Los Pozos de la Nieve (8). Walking along the wall we will reach the Alto (Peak) de San Juan.
Finally we descend, passing by the Refuge of the Naranjera (9) until reaching the Fuente de las Negras.
